Look at ME!!! Class of 73. Keep on Truckin'

Hey Bloggers:

Long time no Blog. I know, I know. I have been dealing with some stuff, my Bunny Body (see my Easter Post) was giving me the opportunity to make a little side scratch working at Le Bare's, Chippendale's and doing some strip-o-grams. However, I pulled my ACL doing the old, classic Chippendale's trick of doing the splits between 2 chairs. See Photo (this is not me of course, duh. Yeah, like I'm a chick, right?!?!?)

Anyway I am back to my old self, a regular work of art. Hardy, Har, Har....

Anyway, I was going through some old boxes and having some beers with Croysdale and Maize. And I ran across these gems of Denney of yesteryear. I found this picture of me in my Senior Portrait for Arlington High.

I was growing this hair all summer long, I would KILL for it now! But then I had to cut it get my Fall job as a car porter for Henry Butts Oldsmobile on Division. I was in charge of driving all the new cars to get filled up with gas before delivery and towing the used cars down to service before we flipped them for a profit. Here is another picture of me and the old pick up I bought with my first paycheck from HBO. I loved that old rig and made lots-o-love in it too.

Anyway, back to work. It is always fun driving down memory lane, but you better not run out of gas.

I will be back on Monday! That's a promise!

Quarter Roy & 3 Quarters Denney

Good news everybody! I just scored the deal of a century. I was driving around my neighborhood as part of my citizens on patrol unit or COPS, Unit 1622. And what did my wandering eyes did appear, but the this beautiful, vintage, Mister Roper-Era Corduroy Couch. It was parked in front of Jack and Leslie's condo on Birchwood Terrace, the one with the old, rotting Rambler in the side-yard. See Picture below:

They have a junky exterior, but inside it is all class. Here is a picture of them at the 1989 Holidays in Hawaii Christmas Party they had at their place. That was the party, if you remember that we danced all night to "Don't Worry Be Happy," Bobby McFerrin.

And I of course made a complete ass of myself when I tired to sneak a kiss from Leslie under the mistletoe.

WRITER'S STRIKE IS OVER!!!

Hello Internet Community:

As a show of solidarity to my fellow writers, both union and non, I decided to take a break from the Blog. During said break, I decided to take a look at my life. Well, I am back. The look was long, but I decided I needed my Blog as much as my Blog needed me.

Comments are welcome, both positive and really positive. Or heck, send me an email, wanna chat, ladies only! Duh — Croysdale!

fyi I (heart) My Blog!

This is just a quick message to the World and its Wide-Web, how much I Love You! You have been beneficial to my life in so many ways. You have brought me closer to my children (I have black-barred their eyes, AC/DC-style to keep those To Catch a Predator Freaks away.)
You have brought me closer to old friends, such as Buddie Mervin and made new friends such as my fellow American Idol Contestant 35831, or as I know him MC Square. (The straight-edge rapper!)

More to come, such as my take on Spam (emails that is, not the delicious, canned meat) Duh, seriously, G-R-O-W U-P A-L-R-E-A-D-Y-!-!-!

Ebony and Ivory are back together for one-night only!

Salutations Blog Community and Music Lovers:

He tickles the piano keys and I tickle the eardrums. Yes, what you may have read on Buddie Mervin's Personal Blog is correct. Buddie and I are going to play together for one show only at the Blue Bird on Horne Street, in Fort Worth on Saturday, November 3rd, Doors at 7 P.M. Show at 8 P.M. 2 Drink Minimum.

As many of you may remember I said it would never happen, since Buddie left group and took my wife with him. But as Gloria Swanson, US actress (1899 - 1983) says "Never say never, for if you live long enough, chances are you will not be able to abide by its restrictions. Never is a long, undependable time, and life is too full of rich possibilities to have restrictions placed upon it." See her picture below, what a FOX! For the era anyway.

Since our former manager, Will Bee is ailing and needs funds to continue his Onychocryptosis treatment; both Buddie and I have decided to bury the hatchet. No jokes about Buddie burring the hatchet in my ex-wife either, duh, grow up already.

The Rhythm and Blues Duo known as 5-Foot-Onders, world-renown for playing the finest in R&B and performing the best ventriloquism, will play one final show to help offset the costs of Will Bee's costly Onychocryptosis treatments and provide assistance and bring local and national attention to Onychocryptosis and its victims.

Tickets are available at TicketWeb buy them ASAP, your ticket purchase not only helps Will, but everyone suffering from Onychocryptosis.

Email me if you would like more information about the concert or about the horrible disease known as Onychocryptosis. Or check out Onychocryptosis for further information.

Go to iTunes to purchase our Greatest Hits Box set, that includes such favorites as, Dummy talking while man drinks water, police siren sounds and (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay by Otis Redding.

Please forward this on and feel free to leave comments on the outstanding event.

-God Bless
